We have a Digital Credit Provider License (DCP) issued by the government of Kenya.

Who do we serve?

Our customers are income-generating but underserved Kenyans, including smallholder farmers, boda boda riders, tuk-tuk drivers, women-led businesses, traders, micro-entrepreneurs and youth. They are not high risk. They are underserved.

Where do we operate?

How many borrowers have we served?

We have served over 40,000 borrowers and disbursed more than USD 10 million in cumulative loans since our founding.

What is our business model?

We provide asset-backed and working capital financing through partnerships with aggregators, fleet operators and suppliers. Loan origination, disbursement and collections are digitized. Repayment structures are flexible and built around how our customers actually earn, such as seasonal farming cycles. Credit products are integrated with insurance and climate resilience solutions.

Who are our investors?

We work with individual and institutional investors through non-equity structures, including senior and subordinated debt, blended finance facilities, grants and technical assistance. Typical ticket sizes range from USD 100,000 to 500,000 for pilot or targeted programmes, and USD 1M to 3 million or more for structured facilities repayable in 3 years to 5 years with larger commitments possible through blended or syndicated structures.

What makes Fortune Credit different?

We lend where others won't, and we have built the infrastructure to do it sustainably. Our last-mile distribution model, seasonal repayment structures, integrated insurance products and digitised operations allow us to serve customers that conventional microfinance institutions find too difficult or too costly to reach. We do not just provide credit — we build financial resilience.
